Commenting on the win, Aires M.D. Paul Jefferson said “We are delighted to have the opportunity to manage this splendid new site. We will be working closely with the Airport and the Car Rental companies to give them a great service”.
The site is expected to supply in excess of 1.5 million litres of fuel annually to the users and Aires has contracted with Airport Energy Ltd to source the fuel.

EDI’s External Business Manager, Steve Spalding said “As a preferred BAA supplier, Aires has proven it can deliver the standards of service we expect for a facility like this and we are confident the investment we have made will significantly improve car rental services to our passengers”.

Gatwick, Stansted & Edinburgh in the UK, delivering almost 19 million litres of fuel to over 5,500 vehicles and ramp based ground service equipment.

Using the latest nozzle based technology and advanced data management
systems, Aires has delivered substantial fuel savings to customers whilst
assisting them monitor emissions and establish their carbon footprint.
